Being a girl, I'd say that I really don't care much either way. I mean, sure, no real woman looks like something out of Eiken. And yeah, Najica could've still told its story without 47.8 panty shots per episode. And I've even rolled my eyes once or twice whenever the animators stick in a random shower scene to show some skin. But there really isn't any use in being offended over it. Fanservice is just another anime staple, to the point where sometimes you don't even notice it any more. So, while I'm perfectly happy with a series where none of the female characters are popping out of their outfits, it's not that hard to just ignore it.

i think thats the most i ever seen you talk! but what about anime's like happy lesson were the male characters do fanservice for the women viewers? do you think that is a cheap way to make up for all the one sided views of women?

Who said they have to make up? I don't think they've committed any offence, just doing what all capitalists do - wooing in buyers with attractive-looking features.

Shows with male fanservice aren't making up for anything, they're just wooing in the other gender in a similar fashion

as a young, mature and sofistcated woman, i am rather disapointed at the lack of anime titles which show the powerfull and rather intruiging nature of what actions take place when two women, both of whome have bein experiencing homsexual tendencies within the pasf few months, begin to explore each others body, mind and soul.

As Mahoro would say "Ecchi is wrong" But of course who cares!!!! I don't care about women think about anything unless it is what food they are cooking for me. Political correctness sucks and there is tons of Bishis in anime just for girls. Now back to wacking off to sasami.
