hi res wallpaper?

maybe this is the wrong place to ask this, if it is i'm very sry but i was just wondering if you guys knew places or had any hi res wallpaper. 1600x1200 will suffice. just somthing that can look clean on my desktop. or atlest a 1280 by 1024 png so when a stretch it to fit it doesn't become an eye sore for me (this may sound nerdy but jpeg compression when its streched looks really crappy to me (i see the compression blocks)

try a google search under images, anime wallpaper, you might find something

I just checked out another site, there are over 500 wallpapers, mostly smaller but some 1600x1200.

I wouldn't.... if you post them with IMG tags, then you'll stretch the forum and make people mad.

i already tried that on a nother topic they wont show up as img
they will only show up as a url link

Why not simply resize the picture in Photoshop? If you don't have Photoshop there are several freeware programs out there that do a good job at resizing a picture.

I use imageshack.com and post the thumbnails, it works great for any large pict.
