Anime Question on NPR

I was driving through Dallas, listening to NPR. Glenn Mitchell hosts a show there and for the first hour today listeners were just asking questions and hoping for answers. The whole idea is that if a question is asked, some listener out there must know the answer. One question was regarding anime. I tried to call in but never got through. I can't answer the second question anyways. The two questions sent in are:

1. What is Doraemon? And were can I get it subtitled or dubbed? (In the Dallas area)

2. I saw an anime in Panama. The main character is an alien girl named 'Jiji' and she is sent to Earth to find a magic flower. What is the name of the series and where can I get it?

Some people recommended stores to go, among which were Tower Records and Fry's. I'm sure most of us know Fry's and Tower will not have them. If you have an answer for either two questions, e-mail the show before next Friday, November 19. The e-mail is gms@kera.org

Well that is interesting, never thought I would hear about an anime question on NPR. Of course I only catch NPRN every so often so yeah. Well I am trying to think of what they could be since the second question isn't very clear. Thanks for the challenge though.

normal font size + default font colour = less eye strain

would the second one be pretear?? I don't even know what pretear is about though... I saw the op and intro and immediateley turned it off due to a case of the heebee jeebees ;p but it's got flowers and aliens though! And I think that's what all the giberish in the intro was about. <feels

that he even brought it up...>
