Anime-Manga: Which One Is Better?
OK. I was talking with a friend about this the other day and decided to see what some of you all thought. So anyway, between Anime and Manga, of certain animes, which do you think presents the stories of the various anime plots better? Oh and not only that, but why do you think so? Personally, sometimes I notice that Manga formats of certain anime make different twists on certain events that come across as better, plot-level wise and so on. But I dunno. What do you all think? Oh and another thing, when you are stating your opinion, how about you add a little bit about what you would do out there to either make anime better, or manga better. Hehe. Just an idea. ^.^

1 - don't put your font that small, it kills peoples eyes when they read, especially if they have a high-res desktop and can't read it anyways...
2 - Some manga > anime, some manga < anime. Berserk manga is way better than the series. That's the only manga I own too...
3- This has been discussed many times, but oh well...

Anime. The only time when I'll like the manga more is when the story doesn't continue in anime.

In general I prefer anime; however, I must admit that manga has a much more complete and detailed story line. Some quick examples are: Yami no Matsuei, the anime only covers the first few manga, many characters are left out completely and much of the story and background of the characters that are actually included is really left out and lacking. The same goes for Fruits Basket. Berserk is another example of where the anime, although very good and well worth having just falls short of the potential that the manga presents.
I usally start out by watching an anime, then I go to the manga to get the WHOLE story so to speak and then I usually watch the anime again just to pick up anything I may have missed the first time (reading the manga can REALLY change your opinion on certain characters and scenes in the anime). So it is really hard for me to tell you which I prefer the manga with the whole story –vs- the anime with less story in general but the art and visual/audio experience is something that you just can’t get in a manga

"Light in the absence of eyes illuminates nothing. Visible forms are not inherent in the world but are granted by the act of seeing. Events contain no meaning in themselves only the meaning that the mind imposes on them...yet the world endures,...whether or not the mind exists..."
