losing intrest in anime
I have no idea if this is just a phase or something but......I DONT CARE THAT I LEFT MY ANIME COLLECTION UNFINISHED AND I HAVNT BOUGHT ANIME IN A LONG TIME OR SEEN IT, and i dont care to complete the unfinished series i have collected over the past 6 years. :*(
I was wondering if this has ever happend to anyone before because i dont want to lose intrest in it. It has been my #2 best friend ever and im starting not to care about it anymore :*( I need help, someone plz guide me in the right direction, or i will be forced to have my anime added to The Collection's anime and i dont want that to happen. If you want to see how poor he treats anime girls, ask him for his rpg he made by rpg maker 200 and 2003, its really horriable :*(
This is my last line of defence before my life with anime ends, plz someone help me get back on track

If the army or navy ever looks upon heavens scenes, they would see that the streets are guarded by the United States Marines.

umm...i think i have b4...but i personally think that its because of a BUSY schedule or something on your mind lately thats been buggin yea that you sorta kinda forgot bout Anime but if you wana feel better you can say to yourself that its the store you bought your Animes faults cuz they dont release the next series fast nough lolz
Advise:
-talk to any friends that is still mad crazy about Anime...itll help you find that "fun" in watching Anime again
-keep listening to Anime tracks/songs...i swear that worked for me
-umm...try finding a new and different Anime...its ok to leave a collection of a series for a while (i know that can get boring at times...)
umm...il try to come up with more but i hope those advise (crappy as they are) can help get your interest back

Stop being crazy about it. I only watch anime when I really feel like it. There are times I'll watch an entire series practically on one breath, but there are times when I also spend upwards of... 3 or 4 months without watching any anime whatsoever. Eventually, if this is something you really like, the 'mood' comes back mostly by itself - well, perhaps some new anime catches your interest or someone recommends it to you...
I think being tired of anime sometimes is good, and not taking it obsessively is better still. It gives you more of a chance to be selective in your viewing, concentrate on good titles better, and really relish the individual viewings more.
Also to parrallel, I have a few types/genres of simulation games that I like, but I never play all of them at one time. Sometimes I stop playing one type entirely for a year, but so far, I've always come back for more after a while. Sometimes all that's needed to rekindle an interest is time...
And, again, if it doesn't 'rekindle', perhaps it's a better choice to just drop it.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

people lose interest in sci-fi, dramas, other stuff like a phase.

calm down dude, like Otohiko and Korova, besides, it's better to stop watching anime for a while and pursuing another art interest than forcing yourself into anime and eventually hating it or retarding yourself with force-fed DBZGaavTheDemonDragonKing wrote:This is my last line of defence before my life with anime ends, plz someone help me get back on track

Now, now, some people have rather short attention spans, so holding on to something requires significant defensive action to combat distractions.
Seriously though, stop and think for a second - what is it that makes you watch anime? If it's not your own honest interest, but rather some 'defensive action', or worse yet, social pressure, then perhaps it's not a good idea to continue doing so, least until you find that personal interest again.
Noone says you have to watch, let alone like anime, you know

To give a more throughout response to Gaav:
Tons. Tons. And tons of times.I was wondering if this has ever happend to anyone before because i dont want to lose intrest in it.
Its part of life.
But the interest comes back periodically.
I am really confused at what you're trying to say/point out/explain/clarify here.or i will be forced to have my anime added to The Collection's anime and i dont want that to happen. If you want to see how poor he treats anime girls, ask him for his rpg he made by rpg maker 200 and 2003, its really horriable :*(

heh, about mistreating anime girls, that reminds me...
...I've shot quite a few of my favorite anime characters (to bloody bits!), particularly girls, in various First-Person Shooters - provided I could find freeware models for them. That did nothing to my sincerely liking them as characters; I just consider myself to have a good sense of reality and humor.
