It does a good job of showing how card strategies work.... and it is a nice advertisement for buying the said cards....

I like Yu-Gi-Oh in a don't-actually-watch-it-anymore kind of way.
Maybe because the first episode of it I saw about 2 years ago (yes dubbed and on tv
) was about Seto Kaiba's past with lot's of flashbacks of angsty-past stuff, quite sad actually, I liked it and started to watch but as it went on it got boring...whole episodes of just battles get boring. Every time it was about the characters it was good though. *likes Kaiba and Bakura a lot 
* Less battles, more story would have been good. I really liked the character design and the design of the monsters but all the statistics-talk about life-points really goes on for too long. *yawn* Also I think the whole series is unnescessarily long. But that did mean I could miss up to 10 episodes and come back and not be lost
I've read a lot about how it was edited, I just find that really interesting, how they decide what isn't decent and how they go about cutting it/changing it to make some things REALLY different.
Well I stopped watching but I'll have a look at it when the last series comes out, I've read about it and seen some clips, it's set largely in ancient Eygpt with..*gasp* less battles, more character stuff! -and lots of Bakura!-
