What do you think will happen at the end? I just can't wait to find out. Unfortunately, the manga is gonna show us since the anime already ended in Japan back in September...

I am honestly completely stumped! There are many possible ways it could end. The only thing I'm sure of is that Naraku will be defeated. I don't even know if the jewel will be completed or not at this point, though... I'm also fairly certain that Kikyo will die again and Kagome won't die, but everything else is really up in the air. Who knows what Takahashi has planned? Other than her, I mean.

I'm not sure about how they beat Naraku but I have a couple ideas on how to resolve the 'remove the shard and Kohaku dies' problem

I think in the end, Naraku will be DEFEATED and Kikyo will die. Kohaku dies, because they get the shard from his back. Sango feels horrible, and Miroku's wind tunnel disappears for good. InuYasha, Kagome, and Shippo will continue on their journey when they find all the shards. InuYasha and Kagome confess their love for each other. Shippo goes off and mets a wife and they have little fox demons. The End.
BUT..... If it doesn't turn out that way, it doesn't. I just have one question, if InuYasha and Kagome begin a serious relationship. How will it last? I mean, when InuYasha was in the present day, people noticed him. Is Kagome going to go back to the feudel era to live, and leave everything behind in the present day?

I know I know! Naraku will have a showdown with only Inuyasha and Kagome and he's going to get the whole jewel. Then, Kikyou shoots an arrow and shatters the jewel again. Kikyou flies down to Naraku (much to Inuyashas dispare) and embraces Naraku. Kikyou takes Naraku to hell with her in a giant column of flames. Then Kagome and Inuyasha continue their search of the shards... And so you know, they already finished the series in Japan. I've seen it.
