It's still not coming because Japanese companies are certainly asking a pretty penny for the licensing rights to the anime. I mean, the popularity of Naruto has been absolutely massive even without official distribution, and everyone, not the least of which the owners to original animation rights, know that it has a potential of being a huge moneymaker.
That, or perhaps they're waiting until there's a card game made for it to coincide with the unleashment of mass corporate cash milking of pre-teens in the United *laughs* States.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

There already is a card game, I've seen it in stores here.Otohiko wrote:That, or perhaps they're waiting until there's a card game made for it to coincide with the unleashment of mass corporate cash milking of pre-teens in the United *laughs* States.
I find it strange that they're releasing the PS2 game without having announced thte anime licence, though. I'd like to think it's an indicator that someone has licenced the anime, but from what I've heard there's still no sign of that. Fortunately the con season starts up again soon...

i totally agree. sometimes i think naruto is more popular in the united states than it is in japan.Otohiko wrote:It's still not coming because Japanese companies are certainly asking a pretty penny for the licensing rights to the anime.
