Zoids:A mech anime that only recived 15mins of spotlight, but then was discontinued by toonami(The original with bit cloud, no spin offs!). Man oh man, I sure miss zoids. What was your favorite zoid? Do you miss the show?

WHOA!!!

Been a while since I've even heard of Zoids. So you mean the one with the Lyger, Yaeger, Panzer, ect... transformations? I liked that, but not the other one. as far as a favorite zoid, I have to say the Lyger 0.

Realy I don't miss the show that much, I would watch it if it was shown again, just to reminince, but the same goes for alot of my old favorites, like Tenchi, and Big O (need to buy that..)

Zoids is by far one of the coolest Mech-ish shows out there and I miss it being on Toonami as well, but I get my fill with eps I have as well as (not spamming, just saying) my Zoids RPG website I manage. So it's all good. But yeah a pretty cool show. I mean mechs that in a sense are machine evolved forms of animals.

In terms of fave Zoid, mine by far is the Liger Zero or really the Liger series in general (Shield Liger, Blade Liger, Liger Zero etc.). But also the other Zoid shows were pretty good too. Fuzors was good too but I miss watching it since they took it off the air a while back.

i thought there were 2 series of zoids? one was like a competition battle against other teams of zoids and one had more of a storyline going on

I definately prefer storyline over action action action no mater what anime it is

anyway my fav zoid had to be the Command Wolf 2nd fav was the Iron Kong

Area scanned, Battle feild setup, ready... FIGHT
...my memory only remembers things like this, the important stuff like school or work goes right out the window

In my mind, the first series, with Bit Cloud, was the best. For a show that was made just to sell toys, it was really well done.

Wasn't chaotic centry the first one? but that one was far better than the one with bit cloud. Fighting in a "ring" with minimal story line with the bad guys playing by different rules? that can't really compare to van's journy and becoming an adult while he stops plots to destroy the world. the ending of CC had closure, while in the tourny, they get to the S class where the best of the best are, and it ends. kinda anti climatic IMHO.

I also liked Chaotic Century/Guardian Force better. While some edits made the show very kid-friendly, I still enjoyed it. It was refreshingly simple and easy to watch.

Not a bad show at all.
