Something I found while checking out Anime News Network today. A new gene that leads to the development of cancer was discovered by the guys over at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. For whatever reason, they have decided to call it the POKEMON gene. Not only do these scientists have no taste or any originality when it comes to naming tiny organisms, people everywhere can now say that Pokemon gave them cancer, and mean it. You can read the full article here. Now what would have been a better name for this? How about the GUNDAM gene.
Probably too busy to be here right now.

The researchers found that when they "knocked out" the Pokemon gene in mice, that transformation was blocked and cells do not become cancerous.
OMG, Pikachu IS cancerous!
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Yu-Gi-Oh? Recently?

Man, it was getting more popular than Pokemon back when I still watched TV... which is approximately 3 years ago.

It would have been humorous if it were for a sexually transmitted disease.
Pick up a hooker, go home with POKEMON.

I guess the doctor writes you a prescription for a deck of cards.

My favorite quote from the article was:
"If we could turn Pokemon off, it may block this oncogenic circuitry and stall the malignant process."
And he is right!!!!
We should turn Pokemon off!!!
Trying is the first step towards FAILER!!! <awayoflife>
