BONES' new mecha series, Eureka 7

Post by angelx03 » Wed Feb 02, 2005 9:35 am

You can find the trailer here.

When I first looked at it, I figured it'll be another boy-meets-cute-girl-with-giant mecha type of thing, but then I saw the mecha SURFING!

I'm all for adding originality to your mecha series, though I'd have to say surfing would not have been my first choice, or second for that matter. Eighth maybe, right behind giant mecha squirrels and transforming house plants. But that's just me.

Wow. I think a surfing mecha just outdid the Windmill Gundam for robot oddities for me.
Why didn't the people behind Transformers come up with the idea of transforming house plants?

"Hey, why's there a laser rifle and rocket launcher attached to that ficus in the corner?"

HA!

This already got licensed by Bandai since they're co-producing it! I guess it'll be harder to finds fansubs of this series.

Wow, how many great anime series take forever to be licensed and surfing mecha gets it before it's even released. Maybe the manga was super popular. Oh well, I am curious to see what its like. Now if only they make my transforming house plants series.
