Hellsing Season 2? (Not saying there is but could there?)

Now we are all (Well most of us) That the first season came out a couple years ago (I don't want to say several because that sounds like it came out 6 or 7 years ago). Now in some people's opinion it was a great a show and in others it wasn't. There seems to be no neutral ground when it comes to this show. (ex. "Yeah it was okay but not awsome but not bad either") I personally loved it and wish that more were made, but I don't really see that happening anytime soon. If Japanese TV networks are anything like Americas' (With the Exception of FOX, Hey they are putting Family Guy back on the air so they are awsome.) Now as some of you may have noticed if you bought the DVD's they talk about why they can't do huge 20 minute long fighting scenes because it would bankrupt the Studio. Since then GONZO has made just for example... Gantz. Now if that doesn't qualify as they are "movin' on up" in the financial department then I don't know what does. I think if they take another wack at the show they might get better results based on... Technology has really improved in the past few years, a better time slot and if they add a bit more action to the show like in the Manga.

Now lest I forget about the opposing side I have heard such comments as..."The show was a piece of shit, but the Manga's were good" (Note: I added the comma for grammatical correctness) I can see what they mean at times like in the Japanese version Integra sounded like well... a dude at times and in the American version Seras well... I didn't like the voice acting very much (Maybe if they used the same voice but didn't sound so helpless it might take the sting away) I pretty much believe that if GONZO took another try at the show but put a bit more effort into the production then they could end up with a pretty good show not to mention the series didn't really start to take off until the third or fourth book.

Anyone else agree? Comments perhaps?

If its straight out action and wierd shit like the first half of the original, it will rock. If it tries to have a story like the second half of the original it will suck.

It just needs to be more like the manga. It's when the show strayed from the manga that it got bad. In other words, when Gonzo has to make up the story themselves it's not worth watching anymore.

And I was listening awfully closely, at no time did I hear Hellsing mentioned by anyone on stage.
