Holy carp, WHY DO FANGIRLS DO THIS?!?! I mean, yeah, sometimes it's fun to pair up different characters together just for fun.

But when you freakin' pair up brothers in an Anime, it's just fuckin' wrong. For instance, now that FMA is here in the US, TONS of Americans are all 'Yay, FMA!'. Along with this, are yaoi infested fangirls who pair up Roy/Ed, Al/Ed, HUGHES/Ed, Envy/Ed, and pretty much any guy with Ed and sometimes Al.

oO; Can anyone explain this to me as to why they do this? There's not even any fisible PROOF that said couples are together. My rant also applies to various other anime. Such as DBZ (THE most anti-gay dub in the universe), Escaflowne, Weiss Krutz (it's like an orgy with these guys), Inu Yasha, Naruto... The list can go on.

But yosh, what are your opinions?! (Just to mention 'fore anything is said, my icon says WTF NO)

I fully agree with this, they make amvs with 2 diff. people that probably didn't even meet at all and still call it art! and i like to mention the following comment...HOW ARE SASUKE N' NARUTO GAY! and HOW ARE ZORO AND SANJI GAY! I ASK U SICKO NAUGHTY FAN GIRLS!

I agree.But woah is there gonna be flaming here.But whats really wrong is there a Naruto Yaio incest vid on here.But now showing a relationship as friends is fine.Like A Gatts and Griffith vid as friends or Naruto and Sasuke as friends is fine.But when it turns into yaio it goes to far.

I think they just like the idea of gays that are of the opposite sex of the person watching them. Guys most often like lesbains, so it would not suprise me if it was the other way around. People that do that just love the anime so much to the point they are in love with the characters, or two of them and then they please themself sexually with that image in their head. If they are tyring to prove that their twisted fantasy is real in the anime unless they have hard proof then they are just delusional. Simply put they are horny!

Everyone has their own wierd sexual fantasies. Luckily for yaoi fangirls enough of them were brave enough to admit that gendo and shinji would end up having hot sex if they got in an emotional situation while alone togeather. Sure it may go against most people's morals, but since when did mirality play a part in what people were allowed to fantasise about. If someone want to share their fantasies with like minded people then theirs nothing wrong with them. Fantasies are nothing more than a playground for the mind which can often be physicaly stimulating, weather its sexual stimulation or not. Fact is that in reality theirs nothing wrong with pairing up two cute brothers and fantasising about them having sex. If you see such fantasies as a real problem then its obvios that you've got problems accepting people who are different to you. Its called being narrow minded and its a serios problem with alot of people in our modern society which tries to project an acceptance of people who many may see as different from the norm.

It's not so much the fact that it's gay that bugs me, it's the fact that they do it with every damn thing in existance. I hate fan pairings, generally. They're ok for a good laugh, but it's pointless to take it seriously like some of these people do. That and it's creepy. And annoying.

This is a little off topic, but what's with all these dumbass InuYasha fans who are always "zomg, kagome should be with sesshy!!111111"? First off, InuYasha as a series sucks. Second off, it's fucking stupid to try to put two virtually unrelated characters into a romantic relationship with one another like that. Third off, it's annoying because EVERY INUYASHA FANGIRL I'VE EVER MET has done this at some point or another. I just don't get these people. For the most part, fan pairings are moronic and pointless, unless you're refering to a pairing where they try to kill each other. That can get entertaining (See: Tainted Donuts by E-Ko). It can also get extremely stupid, but oh well.

Well the fangirl can sense unresolved sexual tension between male characters even if it's not intended to be there...it is how our minds work..o_0 There is plenty of 'proof' but only fangirls are able to see it.
But ok seriously I agree some fangirls get a little *too* obsessed with the slash to the point they forget what the anime is SUPPOSED to be about.

hmm but it's not just with the male characters, have see lot's of random Asuka/Rei fanart from fanboys floating around for example.
