It just keeps getting better and better, in my opinion

I'm sure there is already a thread out there about the series, try searching for it. It's a good series, but the fact that they drag it out so much, and changed my favorite opening/closing song of anime is really disappointing. it's starting to feel like a waste of time watching it.

I'm on episode 6 and it's really good. Only problem is that no real story has come out yet.

This show just reminds me of one of the best animes out there, Full Metal Alchemist!! They both have emotional shit that make you say "damn!" or get ya close to crying. The only reason Bleach quite as good as Full Metal to me is:

1: No "one" important story that sticks forever

2: The monsters are F-ing ugly!!

3: No matter how funny and episode is, it is always scary!! He's a damn death god dammit!! Whether it's a good or bad thing, the show is too damn gloomy, dark, and scary!!

I've watched through episode 25, and I don't want it to end--of course, I know it won't end any time soon. I normally don't go for horror/slasher anime, but Bleach is emotionally powerful (as you said) and often downright hilarious. I could easily watch another 20 episodes or so.

I've been watching the show religiously. I've seen all they way through to episode 28.

Don't worry about there being no overall story - there will be. It's really intense right now, and it's torture having to wait a week for each episode.

When does the story kick in? I'm up to episode 12 so far...but there's nothing particularly compelling so far that keeps me looking forward to each episode.

around 18 or 19 it starts developing. And what gary said is true. This is like when the end of FMA was near, me and waffle almost killed someone trying to get that ep, now it's gonna happen to bleach, that show is just so good

That's good to know. I just wish the show wasn't so dark and scary though. Maybe it can live up to Full Metal Alchy.

By episode 13 it starts heating up, and by episode 16, you're knee-deep in it. This is when... well.. some very specific characters show up/start getting powers, etc...

I just finished episode 15. I guess I can see where it's starting to get somewhat of a plot...

Yeah, I was hoping they'd go somewhere with that, and I guess you've confirmed it.
