This is a petition for High Moon Studios (previously Sammy Studios during the production of the PS2 game Berserk) to translate and reformat the PS2 game Berserk and then sell to US consumers. This game was released in Japan on October 7, 2004 with extremely good sales. Since then, High Moon Studios/Sammy Studios has been sitting on this game, refusing to translate, reformat, subtitle (or dubb if necessary) and sell it in the US.
The Berserk comic book and animated series (which the PS2 game follows), is an epic story, which can only be described as Shakespearian. The series takes place in a medieval setting and follows two individuals: Griffith; the charismatic leader of the Band of the Hawk, and Guts; A swordsman of incredible skills, who joins the Hawks, but later seeks revenge against Griffith due to his betrayal. The game takes place after the animated series "Berserk" and follows the story almost exactly as in the comic book, which is at volume 30 and still being made to this very day.
A previous game "Sword of the Berserk: Guts' Rage" was made for the Dreamcast, but made poor sales due to the fact it was made for dreamcast and gameplay was buggy. Nevertheless, it still had decent reviews and was an overall good game.
The new Berserk game for the PS2 has shown itself to be nothing but the epitome of excellence. I ask anyone and everyone who has seen the series, read the comic books or is even remotely interested in a great action game with an incredible story to sign this petition. Do not let this game slip through the cracks. It's all up to us now. Let's make them give us this game.

Yeah after watching those video’s I noticed a few familiar characters from the manga I just hope they have the blood lusting skeleton dude in it (not unto that part of the manga yet) the game itself reminds me of devil may cry except no guns and no other characters or weapons. I guess this game would be good for a few plays but its replay-ability wont be very high, just like dmc you can only hack away at creatures for some time until you get very agitated that you bought the game with your money.
