You when pokemon first came out everyone was into it like buying cards and playing with fake pokeballs but after almost 10 years what now do you think it's still cool

I liked Pokemon well before the card game came out. I most definitely liked the gameboy games for it, still the best part of Pokemon I think.
Is it still cool? I don't know. I haven't watched Pokemon in 5 years, and TV in 3.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

I hear emerald will be challenging though. But yeah, I got tired of the series, I don't hate it, but it just doesn't interest me like it used to.
As for the cards, I remeber those were huge, now I'll still see a few kids playing here and there. YuGiOh doesn't hold a candle to that card game. How often do you hear about kids cheating other kids out of their cards, hurtuing them to get cards, and getting cards banned from schools for the cards getting out of control?

I don't know if pokemon was ever 'cool' it was popular but i don't know about it being cool.
I like games but thy're all basically the same, it's just that each new release adds something new like the time feature on Gold and Silver. But what i would like to see in a pokemon game release is one where you don't have to delete moves (theres no reason a pokemon shouldn't have more than 4 moves)
As for the TV series I still watch it on TV, but i watch it because i want to know how they will end it, becuase there are questions that need to be answered like, Will Ash and Misty reunite, Will Brock ever get a girl, Will Ash become the best pokemon master, Why does Team Rocket always blast off. These are the reasons i keep watch it's like going and seeing a crap movie trilog and you've already seen the first two which were shit and you only go see the last one because you want to know how it ends, thats all it is to me.
But as for when it will end it will end when they can't get any more money out of it. But its quite azaming how it all started from a simple Gameboy game.

I stopped playing the games after the gold version, i just got bored with it. As for the series, I got to a point where I just stopped caring, and now I'm starting to hate it. (It's the same shit over and over and over and over.)
I remember reading somewhere there actually is blood in the Japanese version, and that one episode got banned from television in Japan because a whole bunch of kids got seizures after watching the flashing bright colors. Also, I think a few episodes were cut from the English version for being a little too mature for U.S. standards.
There were a few news reports about kids getting robbed, beaten up, and gambling over the cards. Some of them were worth hundreds on-line. I remember hearing that one kid actually got stabbed with a pen or something.

It creats strategy, forcing you create a specialy customised team of fighters, rather than having one or two big guys that can do everything. However after red and blue, pokemon just got too easy to be an enjoyable game.ZealDarklord wrote: But what i would like to see in a pokemon game release is one where you don't have to delete moves (theres no reason a pokemon shouldn't have more than 4 moves)
