How much do you spend of anime?

Just out of curiosity how much would you say that you spend on anime DVD's? Personally I take out about one hundred to one hundred and fifty dollars a month for spending and about one hundred of this goes toward DVD's.

Well if I had a job and a well paying one, id spend at least $400 a month, since im from australia the average box set here is $100 so 1 per week, that is of course if im earning more than enough to be able to live and pay for food ect ect...

These days, the anime I buy is mostly for source, so I don't spend as much per month on average as I used to. However, if I end up needing to buy R2s, that's fairly pricey. So on average, I'd say it evens out to about $70 a month or so.

Maybe If I lived somewhere else I'd spend more. Unfirtunately, You can only find bootlegs here. (The only original DVD Set I've seen, is the Hellsing one)

I only rent Anime dvds, i only buy them if the place i rent it at has a good deal or at Anime Convention near me

I think i rent about 1 - 3 a week, so in total that's about $20 - $60 a month

I stoped buying anime when I realised that if I bought a few less dvd's I could have saved up $200 for dsl modem plus the price of installation, and I wouldnt have to put up with this 56krap.

I spend about $60 a month, but last time I bought anime, I splurged and spent a good $200. This was RIGHT before my car broke, so no spending that much at one time again, lol.

Only got 53 DVDs/Box sets. It's rather sad...

I own roughly 625 anime DVDs. I try not to think how much they cost.

I know my son now has over 1600 dvd's of anime collected since he graduated from college five years ago. At an average of $15 each over 60 months...... well, you figure it out. Must be nice to be young, single, and make more money than you need.

Money is a good thing, but some people pay to high a price for it.
