For anyone who cares. [DBZ "uncut" on CN]

Post by megaman917 » Thu Jun 09, 2005 3:43 pm

Cartoon Network announced that the DBZ "uncut" will be starting this coming Tuesday @10:30pm EST. The fact CN is airing it makes me question whether or not it's really uncut.

probably not uncut. Not at 10:30. I don't think they can. I hate dragonball though. You might not wanna listen to me.
It just doesn't get more baka than me.

Well we really dont know if it will be uncut on cn, they tend to cut out almost everything that could be classified as drastic to a 4 year old. Just find a website or a video store and hire them out.

They'll probably show drops of blood!
And color them navy blue...

They may even say kill!
The scene will still be cut fluffy...

I imagine courtesy bushes still being in effect, maybe some more violent details, though none too crucial... Don't expect too much.

I wasn't really expecting anyone to reply to this thread. Anyways, we'll just have to wait and see if it's really uncut. They are showing some never before seen footage, which may or may not be a good thing, based on some of the never seen before footage from episode 1.

well when they say "uncut" it more than likely means lots of blood, thats why they pushed right next to AS, the best way to take them seriously is if they show Goku laying there with a big gaping hole in his chest and blood all over the ground when he disappears.

I'm watching it for the whole nostalgia feel and it looks pretty good so far. Full episode lengths, cigarettes, red blood, the word "death" has actually been used, I missed the scene where Roshi was drinking his beer so I can't say whether that was intact, but we did get to see naked baby Goku. That's got to count for something. Wonder how the more gruesome scenes are going to be handled.
Probably too busy to be here right now.

Quick question. Was the original music kept intact?

 Survey says...nope. It's an all new original score. While it's still your average bland techno, most of the music actually fits the mood of the scenes.
