What was your first anime?

Okay, we all know I'm masochistic. As such I'm curious, what was everyone's first anime?

Watch it people, you will be showing your age. How young you are... or how old you are... at least in anime terms.

Case in point, my first anime? Original Bubblegum Crisis. Mmm, mmm, mmm.

I believe mine was Mononoke. I saw Vampire Hunter D soon afterwards...

Transformers and then about a year or 3 later it was Sailor Moon.

As for your firsts, I assume that was early nineties? I forgot to mention, I saw BGC in 1994. There have got to be people older than that around I'm sure. And I wasn't counting transformers for myself, as I believed it to be just another 80s cartoon. If we go with anime I didn't know was anime....

Oh, boy. That's completely different. Robotech definitely would fall under that category... Several others I'm sure too.

First anime was sailor moon. First anime I knew was anime was evangelion.

First anime I ever saw was Sailor Moon, followed by DBZ, then Ronin Warriors. DBZ was the first thing I knew was an anime.

Mysterious Cities of Gold. Was pretty dang young when I first saw that. Didn't really get into anime, though, until seeing Slayers and meeting Phade much later.

Who knows, might of saw some Transformers or Speed Racer too. Don't remember.

First anime i watched that i knew was anime was Evangelion.
