Character Nicknames

Let me start by saying I am a ditz. I forget things. That's where this idea came from!

I've gotten into a surplus of 60+ different titles. For those of you who don't think that's alot, I keep up with most of them on a semi-regular basis. None slip from my mind- A GREAT FEAT FOR ME!!! :throws confetti:

Anyway, to the point.
How many of you have forgotten an anime character's name so many times you just say "Screw it!" and gave them a nickname? I've done it several times, some times by accident...

My sister and I got so tired of saying Goku and Gohan and Goten- especially in public; this was a time when people thought DBZ was for boys only. We looked at Goku and tried to give him a good nickname.
We gave up and started calling him the Black-Dotted-Eyes Guy... don't ask. He was Black-Dotted-Eyes Guy, Gohan became Chibi-Black-Dotted-Eyes Guy (Chibi-Dot for short), and Goten became plain old Chibi-Chibi (Chibi-Chibi-Black-Dotted-Eyes Guy is waaaay too much).

Now I know at least half of you have called Sesshomaru "Fluffy" at least once- and you didn't stop there, did you? Got any more anime nicknames?

I confess to just calling Megumi Haya... (the voice actress; would have to look up the spelling) "Lina." So much easier to say, and spell especially

I also wind up calling anime characters random things like "whats-her-name" , "blue-haired girl", etc. But those aren't really nicknames.

I don't have much trouble remembering anime characters' names, so I usually give nicknames because I like them, or because they're quicker to say. For instance, Kurama from YYH became 'fox' just because it's two syllables shorter to say.

A few characters I gave nicknames before I found out what their names were (I've memorized them since then):

Shigure (YYH) - Ugly Guy
Mukuro - Bio-bitch (I really hated her at the time ^_^; )
Shishiwakamaru - Bishie
Eriol (CCS) - Clow clone
Hitome (Escaflowne) - Mary Sue
Relena (GW) - Barbie
Dorothy - Devil-brow
Shun (Here is Greenwood) - Girl-boy
Rosiel (Angel Sanctuary) - That Thing
Freiza (DBZ) - Freakshow

She can throw guitar picks like throwing stars and do some serious damage. She's also pretty good at using playing cards.

*dies* OHM, that's just too great! And AUGH!! IT'S FREAKIN' SESSHOMARU, NOT FLUFFY! Does anyone else feel that it's wrong to give such a sissy, pussy ass nickname to a great character?! I hate it when fangirls do that!!

That Purple Haired Girl from Utena (Amthy?): Amfreak
Allen Schezaer: Damn Womanizer
Kamui: Kam-chan (chan like Jackie Chan)
Sally Po: Crussant Lady
Zarbon: The Queen

And just 'cause Mr. Smith is just that cool, we always refer to him as the Secret Agent Elf King dressed in Drag
