Who do YOU think is the strongest Naruto Genin? Not counting in the Manga where most of them already raised in ranks.

I think it's quite obvious that Naruto is the strongest. Excluding him, I'd probably say Gaara or Neji.

So what's a good thread? The anime vs western tv thread is a good thread that sparks intelligent conversation and thought. Any of the myriad random character vs. another random character is just people's personal and unwavering opinions relayed over and over and over again.

That being said, Naruto has a firefox demon, and he did do all that crazy stuff during Oro's assault on Konoha. Sasuke did jack, then. Sasuke is just nutz.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Naruto beats him there too. Of course because of Sasuke's curesed seal level 2 he doesn't feel the pain.

True, but for the sake of argument before this forum is closed:

Naruto is physically stronger, and with a lot more Chakra and a higher constitution, but Sasuke beat Naruto out in raw skill, tactics, and agility. They really are evenly matched, but the tactics end up like so:

Sasuke hits as often as he can, though doing less than Naruto with each hit (cumulative damage doing more over time), attacking relentlessly until the opponent stops him, and evading/blocking damage as much as possible, while planning out attacks carefully.

Naruto evades as many hits as possible, but if he gets hit, he just sucks it up and keeps going; also, with his increased power, even though he doesn't get very many hits off, those he does have so much power that the few that he only needs to hit a few times to down an opponent. He also has no real planning involved when fight; he makes it up as he goes along, which allows for a much more versatile and adaptable style of fighting.

It's obviously Naruto, since the show is named after him.

The show can just keep on coming up with new stuff for him to do whenever he gets into trouble. Sasuke, while a sucky character is probably going to be the second, since he's always supposed to be all superior and stuff and get surprised when Naruto pulls out some super whoop-ass move in a fight.

In terms of power, Naruto is most likely dead even with Gaara, though a lot lower in sophistication, but higher in other areas like stamina and what not.

In a way, this is a lot like a VS thread, so I'm picturing it locked unless someone finds a way to rephrase the topic.
