DRAGONBALL/ Z/ GT
Okay now, this is to discuss the differences between the three. What's good about them and bad about them?
DRAGONBALL- The art was a little childish and more cartoony (if that's a word) compared to the others. The storyline was really good except when the had Piccolo giving birth to his son Piccolo, that was weird...
DRAGONBALL Z- I LOVE DBZ! Can't get enough. Although in the early episodes with Radditz and early Vegeta the art was similar to Dragonball, it developed into the more anime-style DBZ almost everyone became accustomed to. The story was a little more complicated when Future Trunks came into the picture but it was still an awesome anime.
DRAGONBALL GT- The Grand Finale, I was a little disappointed when Goku was changed into a kid again, but that's the way it goes. But there were a few awesome battles: Super 17, Golden Oozarus, Bebe Vegeta, then the fight between Gogeta and Omega. The art differed slightly but I can't really explain it. The only thing I didn't like was Vegeta's hair... and the mustache he had for a little time.
Well, that's what I think now what do you think?

Well I like DBZ the most cause of the cool action and great story. Dragonball was sort of more comedy then real action except for maybe the Piccolo and Goku battle. Dragonball GT well the thing about this was that after DBZ you got tired of it and the begining of GT sucked I like the final episodes of GT not the rest but in my opinion DBZ was the best

yup, DBZ was the real thing, a real classic in my opinion. DB was an action/comedy, okay for its time, and GT. well it was just plain childish, even more so than DB, designed to draw in kid audience, thats why there was almost no FIST FIGHTS, just those gay colorful blasts. Well, the original creator of DB, and DBZ didnt have anything to do with DBGT, except for a few scetches, so this was a factor as well as to why DBGT just didnt have it. In japan, when DBGT came out, it became on the list of 10 leats watched animes on tv after the first month.

i liked dragonball because of all the adventure and there wasnt really a super massive overlord except for Piccolo, everyone else was just a fighter or thug.
dragonball z in the beginning was good because the fighting still was down to earth, by that i mean the look like they put more skill into there fight but by the time its at cell it looks like fist flying over and over with more explosions.
i dont really care dbgt, the ending in particular was just something that seemed done to death, but ssj4 looked cool.

Yeah...
Dragonball-
I thought it was cute and had a good plot line. It showed how everyone met and stuff. (I Tien!)
Dragonball Z-
I got hooked on these series (if that made sense). There was more action and stuff and it had waaaaay more sagas and I liked the drawing better.
Dragonball GT-
Dissapointment. I like the first few episodes and the Andriod 17 saga thing, but when they were in space... I thought it was B-O-R-I-N-G... yeah. But it showed a little bit of history about what happened on planet Vegeta. But then... I liked the original characters... that whole thing with the new generation.... Bleh. Trunks was cool... Pan just sucked.... I hate whoever did her voice... I think they did a bad job...
Oh well...those are just my thoughts.

Has anyone else noticed - GT is set ten years AFTER Z, right? So why in the name of God does Trunks look like a scrawny 15-year-old, when he actually LOOKED like butch Future Trunks at the end of Z!
Future Trunks was always my favorite character from Z, and I was glad that Chibi Trunks actually turned out looking like him (y'know, actually beefy), but then along comes Z, and he's SKINNIER THAN GOTEN! WTF!

DB - Boring up till the Tienshinhan saga onwards, the world tournaments get much better with him and picollo in it, real martial arts, no ki blasts to ruin the story.
DBZ - Buu saga blowed something shocking instead of even some fighting most of the battles were ki blast after ki blast, got quite timid after the 10th buu showed up gah.
DBGT - Well as you can tell I don't like battles which are just ki blast after ki blast and thats all gt is, ki ki ki *blows away the corporate pigs for creating this slop*

well- i liked dragon ball despite what people say- i think it was a good kids program and was more for comedy value than action..then came along dbz..alot of action and some really off time comedy- i mean, i laughed- but the jokes were pretty lame. also..i think it really showed that dbz was menat to originally end after the namek saga- the story lines went a bit down hill from then on- i mean, ok, future trunks...good idea..but majorly flawed...time travel stories are always flawed and Akira Toriyama should have realised that...and also..well..i was jealous about the vegeta and bulma scenario..is that weird?
anyway- the fighting was ok- but too much talking..and too much.." let me think about what i'm going to do"...
dbgt...well..it kind of tries to mix the two together and what is formed is a horrible mess...i mean, dont get me wrong, i still watch it, just because i love the characters..but i agree what was said about trunks..he looks younger in gt that at the end of dbz..and also..because it is so many years later that would make vegeta and goku pretty old...over 50...anyway..
but i guess saiyans dont age...or change their hair...oh wait..they do..

DRagonball- This series was definitly more adventure then action, i started watching the begining and then stop i watched the king piccolo battle though.
DBZ- THE BEST SERIES OF THEM ALL! Great fighting scenes and theres they always cum up with ways to get stronger! I loved all the sagas ! and there was always a big baddie they had to beat. yup that was great
DBGT-Well i was really disapointed for a phew things, goku turned back into a kid that sucked, And how gohan and trunks turned out be gohan is just geeky now, and then theres trunks i dont know why but i hate him in the GT series maybe cause his clothes, his voice im not sure... And the fights! UGG ITS WAS LIKE WATCHIN DBZ FIGHTS IN SLOW MOTION! and the evil people they faced was just stupid, and they didnt even get some of the voice actors!! I only liked DBGT whenthey returned back to earth and goku could turn SSJ4! HES TALL AGAIN! HAZAH!

DragonBall is good, and cute.
DBGT is pathetic. I'll explain why...
DragonBall Z was absolutely amazing. The difference between it and it's fellow series was that the characters were developed and were like real people. They had emotions and were going through something. Gohan felt a real sense of presure to live up to expectations against Cell. Vegeta throughout had to cope and deal with the loss of his planet, crown and people. The relationship between Goku and Vegeta, always exploring the bitter hate towards Goku from Vegeta. DBZ was just more emotional, tense, and dangerous.
When Vegeta sacrificed himself in the Buu saga to save the world - well, that was the most emotional moment of the whole shebang. That moment was absolutely magical. DB and DBGT just didn't have that.
