Animes that you regret getting, and why?

I know....I know......every anime collection contains at least one anime that we wish we never got....we're all people, we make mistakes

My personal mistakes:

1.Lain-after hearing some good stuff about it, and that its "SMART" like evangelion and all i decited to get the box set........and than i cried real hard

2.Ghost in the shell SAC-been hearing some good stuff about it as well, visuals, story etc........I got the entire series, and was less than impressed....i found the visuals to be opulent, but the story and this anime in all really hurt.....yea you guessed it.....I cried......real hard

3.Excel Saga-the last one, and definitley the least. "OMG excel saga is a great comedy".....no, for me it wasnt. the dub really hurt, and the anime itself was.....was.....was......idiotic. Yea you guessed it, i got the box set, and yea.....i cried really hard

Oh dude, you could have done MUCH worse than that! Trust me, I'm living proof because when I was young and naieve, I got...

Final Fantasy: Legends of the Crystals OAV 1 - DUBBED

This would be the Black Sheep of my collection. Sure I got Wrath of the Yotoden, but that was at some discount shop for like a buck (used vids and all that). FF, however, I paid FULL PRICE for!

ACK! What was I THINKING!

Thank God the collection got better over time, but there are still those that I shake my head and go "Why?"

Burn Up W - Dubbed.

Damn those voices hurt. And it's the same old action I've seen over the years. All 3 discs of Dirty Pair Flash are pretty bad too, but not as much as BUW.

Are you talking about "The Wrath of the Ninja: The Yotoden Movie"? I liked that movie. I thought it was pretty cool.

As for lame buys, I bought BLAME. It had a good concept, but it was just a stupid waste of $20 in my opinion. At least I didn't buy any bad box sets though.

I know I will get death threats but I got Gundam Wing and I must say it sucks, as much good as people say about it it just repeats the same story line over and over again with different names for the lead chars

Most of my animes I like. I did have soccer hunters, but I regreted getting that and sold it. There was also Shamintic Princess collection, and the cencored version of Kite. Those I regret getting. I know i have said before I did not like His and Hers Circumstances, but at least it was funny so it made up there, therefore I don't regret it and still own it. The other series above were the only ones I regreted getting and got ride of.

The only anime I regret getting was Ghost in the Shell 2. The thing was an endurance test being twice as long as the original and the story seemed really weak for the length that it was. Granted it looked awesome, but thats about it. I'll take the original over it any day.

Digimon Movie 6-Got it when I still enjoyed the series a lot. The story isn't really as deep as I expected it to be. Just an excuse to put all of the recycled animations and new animations into a movie.

Ghost in the Shell-The first movie. Like a lot of Oshii's adaptations, he took out the feel of the original manga and made it something that he wanted to make. All of the psychological yammering between the characters was really confusing and just bogged down on the real meat of the story.

A few others that I can't remember the names to anymore.

Art of Fighting, Samurai Shodown, overhyped Evangelion. The most recent one I bought is Kakyuusei 2. I didn't even finish the 1st episode it was so boring. There's more in my collection but I don't want to recall them.
