question: y do ppl are so obsessed with an anime character?? i mean, i'm a big fan of anime-n totally luv it! but i do realized that their only drawings(good pretty ones

) n the anime stories r fiction

plus...u can NEVER have the character u luv sooo much! so WHY, WHY i ask u!! do ppl get so obsesse with a person that doesn't exist n looks pretty on paper?

Why don't you ask the people in the Anime Screencaps who start threads about posting pictures of the people they like. I posted in one of those. Yeah, they're drawings and yeah they're not real. So what? If their hot, nothing else matters.

Why do we bother? Because they are hot. Does that mean we have absolutely no life?
No I like going out with my GF at least four times a week.
I go to college.
I work and play.

So why do we do it?
Cause we think their hot. That is the answer. We can think a anime character is hot. Is that actually so wrong?
So what if they are on paper, all of us (at least I hope to god all of us) realize that they will never be real.

It's fun to see which characters we think are the hotest though.

Indeed. Some aren't even hot/sexy, but they're cute and have an awesome personality. (Like Kaolla Su)

the anime characters that people are "obsessed" about, is the same exact person that they wish or want to be(i think)

Did that make sense?

But I wouldn't really say that I want to be exactly like the character that I love.....well maybe a little bit.....but I'm not saying it generally, I just kind of said it because I know a lot of people that love anime characters because they want to be just like them...

Nah. The person I'd want to be if given the choice is Shizuma Kusanagi (from the manga). But Su is still the obsession.

I agree. Too bad most of the characters I'm "obsessed" with are all guys, so I wouldn't want to necessarily be them. lol

yeah who are U to question absession huh?

there should be no reqired reason for liking an anime, it comes from within us no-one can explain this phenomenon. just live with it
