Naruto (manga) vs. Naruto (TV series)

Post by Jelly_Beanz » Sat Jan 07, 2006 10:02 pm

Which one's better and why?

For me, the manga because I actually care for the characters (I actually felt sympathy for the Naruto and some other characters) and it gets interesting as you read on. But the show is so slowly paced that it got less and less interesting until I got to the point where I stopped watching it.

What do you think?

definately the manga, you don't have Naruto sounding like a 10 year old.

I say the manga because its funnier to hear when someone is yelling at Naruto, but then again, it seems like the anime just drags on & on & on without actually accomplishing anything just like with One Piece.

if they'd pick up the pace the anime would be worth-while but they just drag them both on, one piece and naruto, I mean last weeks episode was just ONE conversation, I mean I'm just sitting there saying to myself "I would'a killed 'em by now, i learned al this kewl ninja stuff just to be a sissy and talk for thirty minutes why I shouldn't kil you, after I cracked yer mask an yer face" I mean com'on are they trying to make us suffer?

definitely the manga. For one it's pretty much true for most shounen anime. The anime of Naruto is just lacking in general, and it's just boring to me. The Manga has not really done that, but has just bore me to a lesser extent.

I prefer the anime when it's going right. Without the fillers, I have enjoyed the anime of Naruto to a much higher level than the manga. The music in Naruto is beautiful and their voices are some that I can never forget. Plus the animation is on target 90% of the time. I really can't read the manga anymore because there is no Naruto music, that reason alone.

I would much rather have the manga, which I don't have ><
Stupid commercial's and you can read it whenever you want. Plus, Cartoon Network and everything else get their hands on the anime and ruin it before it's even broadcast. (with just about everything, really)
Which rant would best fit in this tiny space?

yup. on & on One piece(the anime) takes forever to explain like 4 pages in the manga.

Hmm.. I'm leaning towards manga NOW because right now it's just filler filler filler, and the manga has some plot, the art is more distinctive and still packs a punch.

But -if- the time jump is executed properly in animated format, I might end up leaning towards that because I'm a huge music person and I adore the music from Naruto ;_;

but for now, it's kishimoto all the way~

Well, me I personally like the anime. Yay sure, they talk for like the whole
f***ing episode but, when the action comes along, its ok. I would've like to see on Adult Swim more than Toonami. More blood=more fun. The Manga is ok but, I'm just to lazy to read a frickin' graphic novel. I wanna see fast paced action and super-crazy movement. Not to see Naruto jump for a whole freakin page. than turn it to see he missed. COME ON WHAT IS THAT! *ahem* to get to the point, Anime I consider is much much better than Manga
