The Best Action Anime ever?
Okay, I know i'm probibly gonna start more than a few arguements about this but of the stuff Adult Swim has been releaseing here stateside lately, a lot of it has been absolute crap, right? But then, there's the rare occation where something comes along that totaly makes up for the lackluster veiwing on or week nights, with that being said, i've decided to pay tribute to the new king of Giant robots an just come out an say it. Big O is probibly the best Actn show, EVER
Either that or Samurai Champloo...heh.
I know theres a lot of folk who don't like Shirow Massamune's Ghost In the Shell seris all that much, and hey, I can't blame you, it's totaly confuseing at times ( but I still think he's a flippin' genius ).
So with that said, argue it up floks.
Gnar.
P.S. it' be nice to see some Samurai Champloo AMV's mashed-up with Danger Mouse. Wouldn't it?

lol
Okay. We're off to a good start.
Personaly I think Big O was as good as it gets...Paranoia agent pissed me off so f-ing much at the end, I thought okay, finaly something else with a dark ending that's reached our shores....but no, it was all about her dog.
Her DOG. what kind of crap was that?
GitS: SAC1 & Samurai Champloo are both in a class of their own as far as i'm concerned..

The best action anime ever, or the best one on AS? It seems that you're focusing on AS, so.. I agree alot of good action anime have been placed on there, the best being Fullmetal Alchemist (i've never seen anything like it! it's just so..awesome!! well put together story, plenty of fighting, action, and comedy once in a while. just..the perfect blend of everything!). Other good action anime on AS include InuYasha, Samurai Champloo, and one that has been forgotten by even AS itself but i loved it and it WAS on there: Candidate for Goddess (it's one of the few robot things i liked, and the manga was created by the same creator as DNAngel, Rizelmine, and Lagoon Engine).
For ones that haven't been placed on AS, i'll say Real Bout High School, DNAngel, and Scrapped Princess are a few good ones (i LOVE DNAngel!!!).^^ (there's too many to name.. @_@)

That was scary, funny, and both bad and good. There's no way to put that movie. It's just..weird... There's some action, and there's also really perverse comedy here and there, though i couldn't help but laugh at it (it was messed up though.. @_@) Sadly, i never watched the entire thing because i had to leave the house and it was gone off VOD by the time i remembered to watch it.. > >Malificus wrote:Dead Leaves may not be the best action anime ever, but it is the best 45 minute long action sequence I've ever seen.
It still can't compare with the other shows mentioned though, in story no art, nor action, nor sequence.. > >
