Trying to find the name of an anime..........Please Help
I am trying to remember the name of an anime so that I can go about getting it. The problem is I only saw bits and pieces of the first episode so I will tell you what I remember and hopefully someone will be able to help me....
They were in a subway/train station when two friends bump into eachother who had lost touch they dont say anything but recognize eachother someone is pushed or falls onto the tracks and gets stuck and one of the friends jumps onto the tracks to help and call the other to help them where we are led to believe they are killed wether they were or not I dont know as i havent seen all the anime but usually when your hit with a train you die so lets move on upon this so called death they appear in a room full of people and i believe a dog....................so if you could help me out I would really appreciate it

Not necessarily...for example, the manga of G Gundam was a steaming pile compared to the animeLunar_water wrote:Manga is always better >.<
Similarly, Real Bout High School, El Hazard, Ayashi no Ceres (debatable, seen people argue both ways on this), and Cowboy Bebop (yes, there have been manga attempts at Bebop...suffice it to say, none of the charm of the original) both fall short compared to their anime counterparts
Then you get cases where the anime and the manga are so different comparison becomes difficult (Excel Saga is a BIG case of this, as the director for the anime decided to take a considerably different approach from Rikdo's original manga, hence the running joke in the anime about him giving permission for them to rewrite it as ____)
True, in most cases, the manga is better, but, as is often the case here, it's not a definite rule

I could agree with thatIsenfolme wrote:Nah, the rule is that the manga is always better if it preceeded the anime. That is, if the anime is based on the manga, rather than vice versa. If it was written later (a la Cowboy Bebop) or even simultaneously (Gundam, I think?), quality is in no way guaranteed. *g*

I watched the entire Gantz series and the ending just blew. No questions answered about anything.
