Anyone enjoying the Naruto filler episodes?

Post by x_rex30 » Thu May 25, 2006 7:38 pm

I've enjoyed a few but a stopped watching them after a while.. not because I wasn't enjoying them or anything. I don't mind hearing spoilers too much because they are fillers.. but is there anything exciting going on in them? Anything worth checking out in your opinion?

Some of them are decent, but others are just something that shouldn't be there. Honestly though, this has gone on long enough. A show shouldn't have a year's worth of fillers all in a row.

The last filler saga involving the Star Village that they showed was okay. There hasn't really been any true story arcs since then, all of them just being one-episode fillers.

I enjoyed the second episode with the Hokages grandson, it was an entertaining episode which so the background to his Sexy Jutsu that ended with the most amusing battle.

I think the fillers are a good for character development. Earlier we saw Hinata's new move, and Shino got to fight. My only issue is how long has it been since Naruto graduated? A season of fillers would have been a good chance to introduce the class graduating after Naruto. All we see is Konohamuru, but he is much younger than Naruto. (At least 3 or 4 years)

As far as we know, none of the filler material is ever going to be relevant to the main storyline nor should it.

At what point I wonder, do we stop calling the episodes fillers and simply admit that the show has no storyline.

An entire year of 'fillers' is more episodes than a lot of excellent series use up. I stopped watching a while ago, opting to look for new shows that might potentially go somewhere.

I stopped watching when the fillers started. I wasn't one bit interested in them. I'm dying to know when they'll end. > < (not that i hate fillers, but this is too much! I've been waiting since last year!! > <)
