sakura wars

i havn't played the games, seen the serries, or the OVAs.
i got the movie yesterday and sat down to watch it.

about a quarter of the way through, i decided it sucks, and turned it off.

so i didn't like sakura wars. is something wrong with me?

1. somethings wrong with me because i thought it sucked and didn't watch all of it.

2. theres something wrong with me, but has nothing to do with sakura wars.

o_O

anyways, anyone actually enjoy this crap? -_-

There is absolutely nothing wrong with you. We all have different tastes in entertainment or this world would be very boring. I have started Sakura Wars and find it interesting (but I like most anime). The fact you turned it off is fine, why waste time on entertainment you don't enjoy. Go find something you like, that's what I do.

The thing about Sakura Wars: the Movie is that is mostly made who are already fans of the games and series (which I have to say, why the hell are anime companies licencing Sakura Wars properties if they can't get the games they're based on

). If you have no knowledge about the characters or how the world in Sakura Wars work, you won't enjoy it as much.

the story itself wasn't hard to follow at all. was just incredibly stupid.

there is actually a scene where a woman walks in, asks if the girls know english, and they say in english that they don't. then the woman says just "kidding", and continues to speak in english, which they now understand.

so this means that in the japanese version, the woman speaks english.
but they didn't fix this scene when they dubbed it >.>
