War Anime

I was wondering if some1 could help me out. I've been looking for anime with clips of war scenes in it. Now when I say war I don't mean giant Gundams goin at it. I'm referring to modern day war.

So far, I have the Animatrix, Black Lagoon, Full Metal Panic, Evangelion, Desert Punk, Elfen Lied, Read or Die, Hellsing, and I'm gonna give Ghost in the Shell a chance, but I can't really think of too many others.

I know I said no giant robots too, even though I have Evangelian and Full Metal Panic, but there are a few scenes in there that can be used for what I'm trying to make. If there's soldiers dieing, or civilians in the crossfire, you get a gold star in my book.

oh yeah... also if there's something w/ an Atomic Bomb, that would be awesome, cuz that's really hard to find. Animatrix has a little something on it, but it just isn't as much as I need.

There are 2 Big Explosions that are similiar to an Atomic Bomb in DBZ. One in the series when vegeta is destroying himself in order to kill Boo and another one in DBZ Movie 8, when broly throws an energyball and causes a big Explosion..that were the only ones that came in my Mind right now, lol.

Jin-Roh would probably work really well, at least the first 20 minutes of it. It's a story of civil unrest, so it's not soldiers vs. soldiers, it's soldiers vs. state police, but still, you might wanna give it a look.

Episode...12? of Kino's Journey displays an army going in and slaughtering a bunch of helpless civilians.

As for the atomic explosion...one of the N2 Mine explosions in Evangelion would probably be best.

One of the 1st eps of Saikano has a city getting bombed and then it going up in a large explosion that could work.

I think Macross Zero has scenes of war not just giant robots battling it out, 1st episode and i cant think of the other one so srry

Yea, there's lots of good explosions going on in Saikano.
