Lost Universe question *SPOILER*

My question is about Lost Universe and the relation of Millie and Kane. It's explained at the end of the series that Millie's grandfather is Stargazer, the main villain in the series. It's explained that Stargazer is a clone of her grandfather. Then it's alluded to that Stargazer was some how related to Kane's Grandmother Alicia cause of his stance while holding his sword.

It doesn't explain though, are they then brother and sister (Alicia and Stargazer) or were they a couple? If so then their kids would in fact be Millie's parents as well as Kane's parents (both of whom never appear in the series)... That is assuming that Millie's and Kane's parents didn't come from before/after Stargazers relationship together.

If Millie's and Kane's parents are siblings then wouldn't that make them first cousins? I know if Japan first cousins getting together isn't so frowned upon. It's just kinda freaky though (<--- me being an American).

It's just that the series never really explains Millennium Feria Stargazer's past or her parents or her over all relation to Kane. She does briefly state that she changed her name after a bout of ceaseless depression and thoughts of suicide... although it's kinda taken for granted it was because of her father and his wanting to destroy the universe. Which explains pretty well her quest to be "The Best" at everything, I guess that's because she comes from a family that strives to be the worst (evil wise) at everything they do.

Does anyone else know the relationship between the two better? If so could you please help me out, I'm confused about the whole thing.
