I know that I have seen the preview for it and it looks completely kick ass. Its a collection of 10 or so short stories based on the Matrix, each done in a different animation stile(some 3d some 2d, all top quality) The same animation studios and production teams involved in Vampire Hunter D Blood Lust(Mad House) and the guys who did Cowboy Bebop each make atleast one of the shorts in it. And the team that made the Final Fantasy movie(pretty sure that was Square) also makes one. I think pretty much every big named animator in Japan besides Miazaki was involved in one of the stores somehow.

Its being released directly to DVD and video around the same time the next Matrix movie comes out, which I think is in May.
