Random rumor that probobly isn't true

I'm just gonna go ahead and say it.

I heard a rumor that they are thinking about making a second season of Cowboy Bebop.

My source is not reliable, the concept itself is ridiculous, but even if there is a small chance that it is true, I need to confirm it.

Mods, you can do whatever you want with this thread; I don't expect it to last.
However, there is one question worth asking that may give this thread meaning.

Are we sure Spike is dead?

He came ridiculously close to death several times, only to be shown a few minutes later with mummy-bandages or explanations of why he is still alive. I suppose it is not out of the question...

with new storys, supposedly not in the anime?

Are you referring to "Cowboy Bebop: Shooting Star"? That's been out for a while but I've never read them.

Well here is a wacky idea:
in case Spike is really dead, they could recruit Andy(from the ep. with Teddy Bomber).After all they did say they were alike so maybe.....

I would like a second season but only if they maintain the quality.

Cowboy Bebop + No Spike = FAIL
