Anime you identify with...
This is kind of a long stretch considering anime for the most part is made up of imaginary totally impossible things, but is there any anime you have seen that you indentify with? Has there ever been a show that was similiar to your life?
The reasosn Im wondering this is because I recently bought BECK and I was watching it and was amazed because everything going on was so similiar to my life. Besides the fact that they are in Japan lol.
But yah anyone ever have this happen?

No one anime in particular, but I DO find, I can be watching anime, in lots of instances, and a lot of the context of a lot of scenes almost seems like some unseen force is trying to say something to me.
And as I like primarily romance heavy anime, it's usually relationship based instances.
And yes, I've had to deal with loving more than one person in my life time at the same time. And I can't say it makes life easy. But that's the hell of love eh, no one PLANS to love a person.
I've also suffered a lot of emotional trauma in my life, connected with my health, both mental and physical.
But considering what I know of the real world, and frankly I have learned perhaps too much, I still prefer to pretend to be inside my animes all the same.
Mainstream might laugh at us for liking anime, but I'd rather be in an anime than the real world most days. There's too little to laugh about outside in the real world.
Dealing with Tenchi syndrome would a nice change from dealing with reality.

Anime, one of the few things about the internet that doesn't make me hate the internet.
