i just recently went onto the cartoon network website to look up the schedules for saturday night adult swim anime (cowboy bebop, yu yu hakusho, etc). omg they took all the good ones except for zoids. i'm so pissed... the same thing happened to records of lodoss war and vampire hunter d... this really sux...

Why do I hate concerned Parents ?
#1 They aren't active enough. If they would there would be no Poke or Digimon, or most of DBZ because it endangers the intelligence of the children. (I don't have to mention Teletubbies, do I

#2 If they are active they're up against something which is already clearly marked as off limit for children (PG, 15 I'm from Germany, I don't know the American system too well) or even already censored ( In Germany you can buy Hentai Movies at age of 16, that means what is left of them after cutting out the 'juicy' parts
)
#3 Mostly the bitch about how easy it is access these things. Actually, at least in Germany it's quite hard too get 'illegal' stuff or even uncensored stuff - if the parents/discounters aren't too lazy controll them.
I mean bitching about his kid watching an uncut version of Pulp Fiction at midnight in the TV - There's just one thing I can say : If you have done your job ? - Why is it that your kid is up at midnight, huh ?

Now with the rest of the topic. I personally hate those parents who are like we have to keep all this nasty language and violence away from our kids. (Don't even mention nudity to them.) An over exagerated example would be Kyle's Mom from South Park when she got that Canadian Show banned.
Those kinds of parents are the kind I don't like.

actually...i do agree a bit
if i remember, on scifi there used to be a show called 'saturday anime' which showed saturday mornings. that changed to late night saturday because of parents and eventually was taken off because of them. parents have to learn that it's THEIR fault if their kids stay up late and watch tv. also, there are a LOT of other things that are much worse than plain anime going on (there's a little nudity SOMETIMES but heck, kids gotta grow up SOMETIME don't they? they must be pretty damn immature to not be able to handle little bits of nudity, some swearing, and violence...god forbid they show Rurouni Kenshin on tv if they can't handle Cowboy Bebop or Inuyasha!). i don't need to go on about it but you get the idea. now they might want to take some other things off before they start ruining it for all the anime otakus here.
(hopefully i didn't get anything wrong. if saturday anime is still on scifi (maybe by another name or something...) please tell me!!!! me misses it!)
