SLAYERS REV!!!

I'm likin' this new series. It keeps the look of the old Slayers but appears to have better animation, higher budget, and still makes me and the wife laugh our asses off.

Megumi's voice never ages it seems...

I enjoyed the first two seasons Im sure this will be just as good, but im used to english VA's since i saw the first two on the Funimation channel. Still funny as hell

i've watched the first 2 seasons, isnt there a 3rd and then Slayers rev after that? gotta catch up

I believe there was 4 seasons previous, and like 6 movies or more (I'd need to go count my stash to be sure).

Thats not completely in order but I think thats all of them.
Its nice to see another series coming out

Watched the first ep but been too lazy to get the others. I just hope that there aren't several filler-ish episodes in this one. TRY seemed to be the worst when it came to that

(cringes with thoughts of the ep after the first battle with Darkstar and the human/fish person love stor)

Have watched the 5 available episodes:

So far, I like it for:
- Lina being's as crazy as ever (this false-tank battle was fun).
- Drawings are similar enough to previous series, without too much 3d/computing
- Xellos being part of the plot.
- The new character turns out to be more than an average pokemon-like character.
stuffs.
But i dislike the fact that:
- Enemy party looks ridiculous.
- Musics from the previous series are often badly used.
- Multiples references to the previous series, are sometimes unwelcomed (WTF with the sword of light being still here?)
