Hella Cheap Anime DVDs!

Post by the Black Monarch » Wed Jan 15, 2003 1:39 am

I got the Nadesico box set for $43.00 and what looks like four whole seasons of Inu Yasha for the same price each, plus the movies for both for $17.00 each! Plus some cheap Transformers T-shirts!

And I'm not telling anyone where

ebay, where else. It will arrive soon and then the fun will begin. The guy speaks really bad english so I'm pretty sure that I'm getting all 5 parts, I'll only lose $16 anyway.

Now, is this a legit release or more HK bootlegs? I am very wary of eBay DVDs unless I can be assured that what's being sold is a true US release. R2 DVDs are outside my realm currently, so I don't consider those in my searches.

I took a gander at the Inuyasha DVDs up for auction on eBay, and without fail all the ones I looked at were HK bootleg sets.

I didn't see a single legit DVD there. If anyone did, please point me to it.

If it says "region-free" and has Chinese subtitles, it's more than likely a bootleg. You get what you pay for.
