As I stated in a previous thread, Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki is the best. 
Just look for the thread called "What's your fave anime series?" or something like that.. it's recent... and look at page 3. my explaination is there.
A pic? You've all see Tenchi art I am sure, but here's a fairly awesome pic for you to ogle...

best anime ever ... POKEMON! lol .. j\k it depends on the feelings of the moment. shows that i loved that ive watched in the past week .. Hellsing... Love Hina .. Trigun .. all great to spend some time viewing
