What is the most graphic anime you've ever watched??

Post by Bushido Philosopher » Tue Jan 28, 2003 5:58 pm

I'm sure that a lot or responses are going to be quite disturbing so if you don't have the stomach then I don't think you'll wanna be around here.

Now then. What anime series or movie do you think was the most graphic? By that I mean the amount of violence and/or the amount of sexual material.

Now I myself have not seen too many graphic things since I fear that I may lose the previous meal all over the floor, so some of mine could be weak sauce compared to yours.

For violence I'd have to pick EVA. In the movie and last episodes there was like SOOO much blood and people being shot. Pretty sadistic soldiers they got to infiltrate.

As for sexual material, Bible Black sweeps the floor. I've never seen anything so cut-loose and sadistic. And I'm only on episode #2!!! I'll bet it's illegal in at least 50 countries!!! But then I can't help but continue. I have to see what happens? Don't you hate it when that happens?

Well....I may have unleashed Pandora's Box with the creation of this thread, but curiosity always gets the best of me. Please post, but remember to not go overboard, ok? This is a public forum and we want to keep things mature and under control.

I dont watch hentai (only seen Magical twilight, which is probably one of the best light hentai's there is) but hte most graphic hting I have seen woud be Princess Mononoke or Akira. Like the end of PM when the great boar turns to a demon and all those blood worms come out and he starts spwewing blood everywhere...but I got used to it after a couple viewings. As for Akira, well quite obviously theres a LOT of blood and gore and I havent yet gotten used to it.

There's also Fist of the North Star. Nothing like exploding heads and bodies!

What, the anime or your new avatar?

Yeah, Berserk doth have the goods. There's also Go Nagai's Violence Jack and the Devilman OVAs (the ones released in the early 90s) for a bit of the old ultra-violence.

Berserk's last 2 episodes were badass ... bible black was .. DISTURBING .... but the whole mind fuck of the eva movie was bad also... sooo hard to choose :(
...the problem I see a lot is that many good amv makers think they suck, and many bad amv makers think they're good.
I've seen it happen, man! I've SEEN IT!..

Kite and Mezzo Forte. Imagine what would happen if Ron Jeremy and quentin Terantino directed an anime.
