Hey, I might want to keep those for future ideas. Thanks Oto.Otohiko wrote:Or how about:Radical_Yue wrote:What? What'd you think the rounds were going to be like?A million "FFFFFUUUUUUU- all at once

Round 2: MYAKE UN DREMA VIDYA"
I am disappoint in you guys
Round 1: Make a video expressing Kristeva's notion of semiotic, referring to Derrida's work on the Chora and Lacan's Mirror Stage. You can't use Evangelion as your source.
Round 2: You need to create a video with clear messages on the literal, allegorical, tropological and anagogical levels. And you also can't use Evangelion.

I liked Silk's prediction, would have been cool.
This one just feels like a chore to accomplish.

I'd say to take a look at AMVNews.ru Almost all of their contests require them to put the contest name somewhere in the AMV, so it's a good place to look for ideas on how to incorporate mini-adds.
And who's to say you're making an ad?
It could be a simple AMV about..I dunno, kicking ass and taking names with org propaganda throughout it
GET CREATIVE DAMN IT

Re: Project OrgEditor [Round 1 : Home Sweet Home]
the rules for the theme are to make a commercial or advertisement for the org or another amv website, not make an amv and put logos in it. just sayin.

Re: Project OrgEditor [Round 1 : Home Sweet Home]
Well, when I watch commercials and ads nowadays (which are few albeit) I don't even know what the fuck the ad is for until the very end when the name pops up >.>
But then when the add pops up it gives an "ahhhhhhh...." feeling.

Re: Project OrgEditor [Round 1 : Home Sweet Home]
I personally love those commericals where the MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF ACTION are taking place, then FREEZE FRAME while the guy with no hair goes and gets some popcorn. Then at the end, you realize it's advertising movie rentals.
So, in a way, advertising doesn't have to blatantly be like Billy Mays and his slew of product demonstrations.
[Although there's nothing wrong with doing something like that, don't get me wrong. XD]
