Cons in SC?

Ohayou everyone ^^'

I'm now live in South Carolina and i have been wondering if there is gonna be any or planned anime conventions here. I see my neighbors Georgia and NC have 'em but we don't T_T (I wanted to go to one n' also participate in the AMV contests.)
I have googled n' wikipedia'd but no such luck =_=.

Heh we all wish all states we had conventions in our neighborhoods huh?

Anime-cons.com has the most reliable list of every con in the country.

Alas! SC has no anime-specific conventions. The only local con is RoundCon, but it's devoted to tabletop gaming. (They have a very small anime room.)

South Carolina isn't a very con-friendly state.

Animazement and Anime Weekend Atlanta are probably your closest cons. Those are the two I go to, anyway, and I live mid-state.

Although Animazement's pre-reg time is up, I definitely recommend attending. It's cozy and fun. This is will be my sixth(!) Animazement. Needless to say, I dig it.
