M.E.W. Con (Oregon/So. Washington) 2009

Hello everyone!

First of all, it's a pleasure to enter a new forum community, I look forward to meeting many of you and sharing interests. My name is Charlie, and I'm the current Programming Director for M.E.W. Con. M.E.W. stands for Manga and Exotic Worlds--we meet on New Year's to celebrate and enjoy Manga, Anime, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and many other forms of Culture. The 2009 con season will be our second year in Vancouver, Washington (20 minutes North of Portland, OR), and we're looking to introduce many exciting events to this year's schedule. In particular, we are planning on running a Fan-Made Music Video contest! We'd like to invite everyone to share their work--be it based on Anime, Fantasy, Sci-Fi...even video games--and be a part of this event!

If you have questions or comments about the event, feel free to discuss, but reserve this topic primarily for the discussion of the fan-made music video contest.
