I'd imagine after that fiasco years ago.

As for Saturday...that one's over my head. Usually we all just meet up after Iron Editor and discuss from there. Usually we follow someone as though we know where we're going, but we don't. We'll probably talk this over at Cheesecake tonight.

Just to clarify, it will be Cheesecake tonight. 7:00 is the recommended time. If you can come early, I'd advise on doing so. If you arrive later or if we/I are/am seated earlier, just ask the front to bring you to the "Music Video Dinner" table.

This is about all I can do for now. I'll pick up my packet, most likely, after dinner; hopefully, the lines will have died down by then. Otherwise, see you all there.

Hopefully.

^ Do you want to give a general description of what you'll be wearing (i.e., bright green shirt and jeans) so for people who get there early will know who to congregate toward in the waiting area. Or will it be really obvious?

Edit: nm I found the answer:

Or sitting. There's a bench! :D

Also wearing blue jeans and blue/white shirt, may be reading a book, good one if possible.

All right. Back from con, and my arm is tired from carrying this heavy duffel bag. Overrall, I'd say I had a really good time.

Thursday was a little setback; not everybody showed up, and we didn't actually get to eat at Cheesecake. But no matter. I understand how long the lines were that night, having been waiting there myself til after 10:30. It was still good to hang out with whoever showed up, and Five Guys Burgers and Fries was much better anyway. Been awhile since I had a decent burger, so I was glad with that.

Saturday was much better. A larger group of us was able to meet after the Iron Editor, which was really fun and I should attend that more often. We walked along the harbor until we eventually made it to Pizzaria Uno's where we all had a great time hanging out and enjoying a good late meal. So that went off without a serious hassle.

It was good seeing each other again and meeting both old and new faces. I'm already looking forward to next year.

Next time I'll be a little better prepared.

Yeah, that Cheesecake Factory was just lame. Five Guys was good as always, I just already eat there on a regular basis. Uno's was fun, but it would have been nicer if we could have gotten tables pushed together instead of being in separate booths.

Overall it was a really fun weekend, but now it's back to the real world, and doing tedious stuff at work. :|

Oh, and I don't think anyone knew who I was cosplaying. Granted, I was short on time so I picked something really easy but not exactly distinct. Although no one I asked had even seen Garden of Sinners so not really any chance of being recognized.
