I don't really remember what happened at that con... Not that I knew anything about it.... I'm just Hitori, that's it...

I've only been at one con so far (other than animefest at Virginia Tech, but that's just cool!) and at the con I was at (AFO2) you pretty much hit the nail on the head: The average age was 14 with a maturity level of age 8, and "D0rk1n355" emanated from every crevice of the convention floor

J/K There was some good anime there though, and a few mature people, so I can't complain too much. My assumption is that at a huge con like Otakon, you'll have a wide variety of maturities/age groups, and I'm sure you can find whatever you're looking for. At minimum, you get to see some awesome AMVs, and get a chance to meet people with similar interests.

Just go there and enjoy it for what it is. ^_^

Oh, and not all male AMV makers are week - it's just that most of the strong/mature ones are taken

Your observations are totally inaccurate.
I myself am not a nerd, because nerds can't be Firefighters like I am.
I don't drink (not just because I am only 20, but because I don't care for the stuff). And I don't even know ErMac, so why whould I say shit about him?
Little children getting raped? That is just wrong on so many levels. How do you come up with this stuff?
Once again, I don't dring, of smoke, or do drugs. I feal I am messed up enought as it is, I don't need any extra help.
horny? In a way, possibly, but shy towards the opposite sex. So the camasutra is out for me.
