Sadly going to miss this year's dinner. The first since 2001 too.
That night is Halloween and next year I'm obligated to miss out on taking my kid Trick-or-Treating, so I'm taking the evening off to be with him.

We picked up one more, but I didn't write their name down. No matter. Here's the news:

1) Though I only have 18 confirmations, I made an arrangement with the management for 30. So, encourage all your friends who never saw this thread, or the discussion on Discord, to join us; there should be plenty of room.

2) I couldn't keep my promise. The dinner is now scheduled for 6:30. At 6:40 they will start giving away our extra seats. This is because the restaurant normally doesn't make reservations for 6pm or later. However people do come and go, so if you're around a little late because of travel arrangements, you might still want to stop by. I'm looking at you, Rider.

3) The weather promises to be awful, with temperatures dropping into the low 50s around the time we should head to the restaurant, and into the low 40s around the time we head back. It will also rain, though that's /supposed/ to be over before our time... no bets. You probably want to dress warm, bring an umbrella, or take a Uber back and forth.

4) If you want to go in a group, we will meet in the lobby around 5:45, and start walking at 6:00 sharp. They won't seat us until our "whole" party is there, and I also promised them a call at 6 with an updated count so they could start releasing some tables early if they needed to (or start wondering where to put us, if our numbers double). You should look for the skinny guy in a Hawaiian shirt with a beard and cane. That will be me.
