Seriously, though, JACON doesn't officially kick off until Friday at 5:00 PM so is anyone interested in getting together for a Friday lunch?

I could do lunch. I would need a ride from the Con, though. Hopefully, some of you have enough trunk space for me to fit into.

If the Con starts at 5:00, we should meet up at a certain part of the building at 3:45 or 4:00 and then leave to get lunch. That way, we'll have time to eat and return without missing anything.

Hmmm. Last year registration opened Friday morning, granted there was not much structured activity happening, but it was the perfect time to meet and talk with everyone...

Registration begins at 10:30 AM on Friday according to the web site. I think a 4:00 lunch may be a bit late since eatting and socializing takes time. I'm also doubtful at whether we will have enough cars for everyone but it appears there is sufficent food sources within walking distance. We will be at a university campus after all.

How about getting together sometime after registration starts but before the afternoon really kicks in? I'm sure not everyone will be in the area by late Friday morning but I think the majority will be around and registration, as Vlad suggested, seems like logical meeting place whether creators are reading this post or just happen upon us.

So, I guess the big question is how early are y'all going to wake up on Friday?

Well I should be there by 10:30 am... Not sure if I can drag Ian out as well since he's flying in from England and may have jet lag... But then again I will have a rented car so he I might be able to drag him out early

We'll also be in in Thursday night. Our flights arrive at the exact same time so we're both driving to the hotel together. Good think since I'll need a navigator to make sure we make it!

I'm getting all nervous just thinking about this. This will be my first Con and I'll get to meet you all, up close and personal. This should be interesting.
