Space won't be a problem this year for either AMV or Mascarade. Both are in the new Main events room which we are expecting to seat 3,000+ attendees !!!

Holy!!! Damn, finally looks like there won't be anymore need for Simulcast rooms! (although it's fun to hear people yell obscene comments at cosplayers in those rooms)

I am wondering how seating is dealt with for the AMV contest? First come first serve? Or reserved seats for submitters?

(Crosses fingers) Reserved seats I hope. Then if there is time between the AMV Panel and the AMV contest we can grab dinner together and stroll in together. (Grin)

So other then Thursday night which I can't make, what would be the best time for a gathering? Scott you know the schedule and such, what would you suggest.

Yes I will be makeing a reserved area of seating for AMV creators who have submitted videos to the contest ( I'm not that much of a jerk )

AS with any con the schedule is still beign finalized. The current plan is for the AMV contest to happen mid day on Saturday and finish 3 hours prior to the Mascarade, I do not have a date or tiem for the AMV panel yet.

AMV Iron Chef is currently scheduled for 7pm Friday

AMV semi-finalsit screening is schedueld for late morning Sunday.

Again all of these dates and time are tentitive until a final schedule is proposed.

Yeah, that sounds fun. Let's do it!

WOOHOO! Reserved seating! That'll be really different. I got my ears blown out at a few events last year... The speakers were so close it hurt. I hope, of course, my vid is chosen... ^_^

I'll be over at Fanime once again myself even though I'm staffing Guest Relations, but I'll make an effort to make it both to the get-together and to the contest.

SHAMELESS PLUG: If you get a chance, go see "Tomoyo Does Cardcaptors" it's my very very wrong parody dub that's showing sometime saturday afternoon (check the schedule). Also check out Studio Sokodei's new parody "Nescaflowne" which I'm also in. Less than a month left til Fanime >_< *holding in excitement*

I'll be present and accounted for! This'll be my 3rd yr @ Fanime and hopefully, my AMV experience will be just as good as last years! =D I hope my video makes the cut! *crosses fingers*

Anneke, a get-together sounds like fun! ^^ Count me in if we do have one! Anywho, I hope to see you all there =P I'm still contemplating whether I should bother making CDs to hand out my AMVs... I probably will, so if you'd like a copy I'll be cosplaying as Kikumaru from Prince of Tennis and Ayame from Fruits Basket...
