www.ddrmaniax.net for stepmania...just download the latest CVS.
If you're online tonight (and I remember) I'll message you about the other stuff.

Oh yea, Vic I've got the mixes and SM, so all's good. Thanks for the offer though.

StepMania I've got, and I've recently started to play around with their TournaMix(which is of varying quality, but there are some gems). Still I'm waiting on my PS->USB adapter to arrive in the mail so that I can actually hook up my pads to the computer.

Still, I spend an absurd amount of time and money on DDR considering how much I suck at it.

*sigh*...if all else fails, I could copy Stepmania over to my old PII450 and then bring that. I'd rather not do that, though, because then I'd have to bring keyboard, mouse, cables, etc., not to mention the box itself....that, and I'm not exactly sure where the breakout box for my TV-out is...and I haven't used TV-out on that computer in almost 3 years, so who knows if it's still working.
For sure, a PS2 with DDRMAX should be brought (I can always do that) in case the computer->TV thing completely falls through.

Anyway, my TV has composite mono input (just yellow and white, no red).
I have no idea how to use this new forum.

No one asked you to bring your stuff, you won't have to, and the computer thing won't fall through. Stop being a negative nancy!

Okay,

Not to over organize things here, but I would suggest a mild DDR tourney. I mean, at some point, I'd like to be able to play DDR with someone of my skill level. I have only played DDRMAX. I played Pump it up in the arcade and it hurts my brain. I can get AA on almost all songs on Light mode. Once we get into the yellows in standard, my ankles begin to snap. Anyone agree? A tree-type DDR tourney of some kind?

bah, if you want a tourney, play at the one at the convention...CBB isn't about competition...*shrug* but if people want to have a mini tourney, I guess I don't care...I'll be behind the bar, serving drinks where I usually am

As will I. But on the occasional break I'll have, I'll play DDR ;) Last year, I was TERRIBLE at DDR. Now I can actually play. However, my legs do not move independantly from my torso, so I'm just saying I'd like to play against someone with "moderate" skizzil. Or something. Anyway.. as mentioned WAY earlier in the thread... I'll be bringing my Bartending book... so bring your obscure drink ideas. :P

It's almost pointless to have a tourney, because the finals will be Gargos and Heather :D

Am I right in assuming CBB stands for Cor-bo-bash? I mean, corbo is only one word.... or is it Corbo Bash? It's like when people type HDD for hard drive... we all KNOW it's Hard DISK drive.. there's no need ;) Okay, it's 5:30 and I"m punchy. Freakin customers.
