How about AnimeNorth! That's the biggest attended Anime Con in Canada I do believe and it does have an AMV contest as well.....

That's another story. There's a wimpy little 1-day con that took place at Villanova University called Kosaicon. There's Tekkoshocon in Pittsburgh. I know people who have ideas about doing a big Philadelphia con (though that would supplant Kosaikon and suck for them) in the future, which I'd probably be affiliated with.

Aside from that, there's nothing else in PA. Your closest bets are Otakon (Baltimore), AXNY (NYC), Anime Mid Atlantic/Anime USA (Virginia)... and that's about it. If you're up for a bit of a drive, I highly recommend Anime Boston.

...or if you're over in the west you could head to one of the cons in Ohio. (I haven't done that yet; I think I'll stick with Tekkoshocon, Otakon and possibly one of the girly cons in the NJ/NY area.)

But yeah, check Fansview. :)
