Have an Anime Convention Planned in the Philippines

8) Hi to all you guys out there!
I'm new here but i want to ask you help on how to make an anime convention work. Im one of the organizers of ARCHcon (Animation, Role-playing, Comic, Hobbies convention) that is going to be held here in Cebu City, Philippines this coming July 24. Please try to send me your suggestions. Thanks!

July 24th....ah, one day AFTER my birthday.

Still that's so cool. If you had an AMV contest, I'd enter. But as to your immediate question, sorry, can't help you. Don't know much about running a con...though I've been to one every year for the past 6 years.

I really wish this con was being held around christmas-new years time since I might be able to go if it was.... although I dunno how far Cebu City is from my relative's place in Manila. *hopes it's not several islands away*

Can I join? Both of my parents are Filipino (though I was born here in the U.S.).

Well, from experience from reading rants on other forums, if you're going to have AMV showings, make sure the equipment works.

Both of my parents are filipino and I was born in the US as well. In fact, I don't know any of the language.
